Expo 2020 in Dubai

Expo 2020 will take place in the Emirate of Dubai from October 01, 2021 to March 31, 2022 – and thus for the first time in the Middle East, Africa and South Asia (MEASA) region. This central location and easy accessibility are not the only reasons why Expo 2020 Dubai will be the most internationally oriented world exhibition in history.

Connecting Minds, Creating the Future

With the motto “Connecting Minds, Creating the Future”, Expo 2020 Dubai aims to promote creativity, innovation, and collaboration between nations, cultures, and institutions, focusing on the three main themes of opportunity, mobility, and sustainability. The Expo in Dubai is one of the world exhibitions. For 170 years, the exhibition series has provided a platform to share innovations that shape the world we live in. A record number of 192 countries have confirmed their participation for this year's event – and around 25 million visitors are expected to attend.

The Baden-Württemberg House focuses on the theme of opportunities, making it ideally placed to demonstrate the possibilities of progress. It embodies Baden-Württemberg as a hub of innovation, business, research, tourism and culture, and also serves as a stage for medium-sized companies and corporations and for the state’s educational and research institutions, which are among the world leaders in many fields.

New solutions through strong partnerships

Participants from Baden-Württemberg present themselves as partners in a strong network that works together on new solutions as well as promoting economic relations and opening up new markets. As such, Baden-Württemberg House will become a lively place for exchange and encounters, and its presence at Expo 2020 Dubai will help bring awareness to the state of Baden-Württemberg and its successful, innovative companies.

PreZero as partner of the Baden-Württemberg House

PreZero is based in Baden-Württemberg and is also a player on the international stage. Our goal is to close loops with our innovative environmental services and thus protect the environment. The motto “Feel the Spirit of Innovation” thus perfectly captures this idea that accompanies us at PreZero. That’s why we are delighted to be part of Expo 2020 Dubai as a partner of the Baden-Württemberg House. In line with our vision of “New thinking for a cleaner tomorrow”, we are right at home at a world exhibition that looks to the future and focuses on sustainability.

PreZero presents the future of the circular economy

At the Expo, we at PreZero will accordingly be presenting our solutions for a functioning circular economy: How can the circular economy be effectively advanced? And which individual process steps are particularly important for PreZero? All of this will be presented at a media station through the use of interactive elements.

In the Expo app, PreZero also showcases a wide variety of environmental innovations that help promote the circular economy – from the processing of biological waste by the black soldier fly, to sorting technology with artificial intelligence, to sustainable packaging solutions made from fibers from the silphium plant. All with the one goal of reducing the consumption of natural resources, avoiding waste and shaping the future with sustainable and efficient solutions.
